Frequently Asked Questions

What's included in the assessment?
Choose either AI Governance or FinOps for AI at the listed Startup or Enterprise fee. Combined assessments are quoted separately based on the agreed work. Governance reviews AI Inventory, Data Governance, Output Validation, Vendor Oversight, and Executive Monitoring. FinOps reviews cost ownership, budgets and forecasts, usage and allocation, spending controls, business value, and vendor commitments. You receive an executive report and action plan for your chosen scope. Combined assessments provide separate Governance and FinOps reports and findings.
How long does the assessment process take?
Standard assessments typically take 10–15 business days after the required evidence is submitted. Enterprise includes priority scheduling, typically 5 business days. AICS confirms timing for your chosen scope in the Engagement Agreement.
What if the assessment identifies gaps?
You receive an executive report for your chosen assessment scope with findings and prioritized recommendations. Reassessment is available at 50% of the initial assessment fee after a 90-day improvement period, within the previously agreed scope.
How does an optional follow-up review work?
You can request a review when your Governance or FinOps evidence, AI systems, spending, or organizational practices change. AICS agrees to the follow-up scope, timing, and fee before work begins. Follow-up reviews are optional; an initial assessment does not automatically enroll your organization in recurring reviews.
Can we upgrade from Startup to Enterprise later?

What does the client report include?
Each report summarizes the evidence reviewed, findings, priorities, and recommended actions for its agreed scope. For combined assessments, Governance and FinOps reports and findings remain separate, with a coordinated action plan in one client portal.
